AMBOS, A GREAT STORY OF PASSION, WORK AND INNOVATION
1942
Egidio Agostoni was born in Granaglione (BO) in 1942. After studying at the Art Institute of Bologna, when, at a very young age, he won several design awards in important international competitions, in the 60s he continued his experience at the Institute as a teacher in the wood section.
The 70s
In the early 70s he decided to stop teaching to devote himself fully to interior design and the development of his own projects.
1973
In 1973 he designed and industrialized his first mobile coat hanger, the Lift, still unsurpassed on the market for its load capacity and technical characteristics.
1977
In 1977 Agostoni founded theAmbosFor approximately thirteen years, he worked with the company on both the design of furnishing accessories and wardrobe accessories. His most innovative projects during this period included the wood expansion socket, the shoe rack, the adjustable concealed shelf bracket, and the Blinda, the first high-load extruded aluminum shelf.
From the 90s to 2008
From the 90s to 2008, the year of his untimely death, he dedicated himself exclusively to the design of wardrobe and walk-in closet accessories, including various Lift models, trouser hangers, tie racks, and much more, as well as the world's first fully extendable drawer with a single slide.
2009 from today
Since 2009 Ambos continues its activity with the same innovative spirit and the same design philosophy that have made it a leading company in the world over all these years. To succeed the founder of theAmbos It is his son Daniele Agostoni who runs the company, assisted by his sister, architect Donatella Agostoni, who deals mainly with the design and engineering of the products.
Ambos exports to over 40 countries around the world making use of the most qualified commercial channels.
The company is headquartered west of Bologna, along the historic Via Emilia. Next to the modern production facility, the offices are located in a contemporary office building designed by architect Donatella Agostoni.

ISO 9001 Quality Certification is achieved by undertaking a preliminary analysis phase and optimizing all activities. Ambos Through hard work and dedication, the company has achieved ISO 9001 certification. Periodic audits by competent authorities ensure continued compliance with the relevant standards. Compliance procedures are always documented in writing and cover every product design and development phase, right up to the manufacturing stage.

With the environmental policy defined in this document, the company intends to highlight its commitment to the environment and provide guidance for implementing and improving its environmental management system.
AMBOS Srl It is therefore aware that its activities, products, or services produce effects that may interfere with the natural ecological balance. It recognizes environmental protection as its strategic objective, which must be constantly monitored in the exercise of all its activities.
The primary objectives that the company sets itself in this area are:
